By purchasing, registering for, or using a CreditCon ticket, you agree to these Terms of Service with CreditCon Inc. ("CreditCon," "we," "us"). These terms apply to the CreditCon conference and all related activities, including workshops, receptions, offsite events, and the event app (together, the "Event"). If you buy tickets for other people, you agree to share these terms with them, and each attendee is bound by them.
If you do not agree, please do not complete your purchase.
1. Tickets, Refunds, and Transfers
Refunds. Refund requests emailed to support@credit-con.com at least 14 days prior to the event will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee. No refunds after that date.
Transfers. Tickets may be transferred to another person by email: support@credit-con.com no later than 14 days before the Event.
No resale. Tickets may not be resold for more than face value or listed on third-party resale sites. Tickets obtained this way may be canceled without refund.
Admission. Attendees must be 18 or older and may be asked to show photo ID matching the name on the ticket. Badges must be worn at all times and may not be shared.
Removal. Anyone removed from the Event for violating these terms or the Code of Conduct forfeits their ticket without a refund.
Changes to the Event
We may change speakers, sessions, schedules, or the venue without notice. Speaker changes are not grounds for a refund.
If CreditCon cancels the Event, you may choose a remedy of a full refund of the ticket price or a credit toward a future CreditCon event. If the Event is canceled, postponed, or moved online because of circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government orders, or venue failures), we will offer a credit toward the rescheduled or a future event. We are not responsible for travel, hotel, or other costs you incur.
2. Photography, Video, and Recording Release
CreditCon and its authorized photographers will photograph, film, and record the Event. By attending, you grant CreditCon Inc. and its affiliates a free, worldwide, perpetual right to use your name, image, likeness, and voice as captured at the Event, in any media now known or later developed, including websites, social media, video, print, advertising, and promotional materials. You waive any right to inspect or approve these materials and release CreditCon from any claims related to their use.
Opting out. If you prefer not to appear in future CreditCon marketing, you may email support@credit-con.com before the Event. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request in materials created afterward, but we cannot guarantee you won't appear in crowd shots or in materials already published.
Your own recordings. You may take photos for personal use. Audio or video recording of sessions, and photographing presentation slides for redistribution, is not allowed without written permission from CreditCon and the speaker.
3. Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy
CreditCon is committed to a safe, professional, and respectful environment for everyone, regardless of sex, race, color, national origin or ethnicity, age, religion, disability, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, political affiliation or beliefs, physical appearance, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Who this applies to. Everyone at any CreditCon-sponsored activity: attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, vendors, and staff. It covers the venue, offsite events, receptions, the event app and online channels.
Harassment is not tolerated in any form. It includes, but is not limited to:
Comments or conduct that demean or show hostility toward someone based on any characteristic listed above
Discriminatory, derogatory, or degrading conduct or comments
Sexual language or imagery in talks, booths, presentations, or public spaces
Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
Unwelcome or repeated sexual attention or advances
Unwelcome or non-consensual physical contact
Harassing photography or recording
Sustained disruption of talks or other events
Encouraging or advocating any of the above
Professional conduct. In addition, attendees may not engage in aggressive solicitation of other attendees, unauthorized selling or distribution of materials outside of sponsor areas, or conduct that violates venue rules or the law.
Anyone asked to stop harassing or disruptive behavior must comply immediately.
4. Reporting, Investigation, and Appeals
If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
How to report
In person (during the Event): Go to the registration desk and ask for the Conference Safety Team. You'll be taken to a private space to talk.
By phone before or after the Event: Call 860-785-9800, 9 AM–4 PM CT, Monday–Friday.
By email: support@credit-con.com anytime.
We keep reports as confidential as possible. Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern or takes part in an investigation is itself a violation of this policy.
What happens next
A Safety Team member will contact the reporting person (if known) to explain the process and ask whether they want an investigation.
If they do, the Safety Team will speak with the people involved and review any available information.
If a violation is found, the President of CreditCon Inc. will decide an appropriate action.
The reporting person may stop participating at any time. CreditCon may still act, with or without an investigation, when needed to protect the safety of attendees. If there isn't enough information to investigate, we may not be able to take action. Reports involving CreditCon staff are handled under our internal procedures.
Consequences
Depending on severity, CreditCon may take any action it considers appropriate, including:
A verbal or written warning
A directive to stop contacting the reporting person
Removal from a speaking session or panel
Removal of a sponsor's or exhibitor's logo from CreditCon materials
Notice to the person's employer
Immediate removal from the Event without a refund
A ban from future CreditCon events, temporary or permanent
Appeals
If you disagree with the outcome, you may appeal in writing to the President of CreditCon Inc. at matt@credit-con.com within 14 days of being notified. The President's decision on appeal is final. Questions about this policy can be sent to the same address.
5. Liability, Privacy, and General Terms
Assumption of risk. You attend voluntarily and accept the ordinary risks of attending a large public event, including travel, crowds, and activities at offsite events. You are responsible for your own belongings.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CreditCon Inc., its officers, staff, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your attendance, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket.
Content disclaimer. Sessions are for educational purposes only and are not legal, financial, or compliance advice. Views expressed by speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors are their own and not endorsed by CreditCon Inc.
Your information. We use your registration information to run the Event and communicate with you about CreditCon. Your name, company, and title may appear in the event app and attendee materials. We may also share your name, company, title, email, and phone with our exhibitors. If you wish not to have your information shared with the exhibitors you can opt out by email: at support@credit-con.com or by phone at 860-785-9800. Opt-out requests must be received at least 14 days before the Event; information already shared cannot be recalled.
General. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mobile County, Alabama. We may update these terms; the version in effect when you purchase applies to your ticket. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
