Aldiva “Ali” Rubalcava’s journey has been one of perseverance, growth, and community impact. Born in Kingsburg, California, and raised in Artesia, she later moved to Visalia in 1988, where she attended Mt. Whitney High School while also studying at Barclay College in Fresno. In 1996, Aldiva moved to the Bay Area, where she became one of the few licensed female contractors in the region. Holding a C-54 license, she specialized in kitchen and bath remodels and ran a successful business until 2008.
Her accomplishments in business earned her the prestigious Business Woman of the Year Award in 2006, presented by President George W. Bush and Congresswoman Fox in Washington, D.C. Aldiva was one of just 50 businesses nationwide to receive this honor. In addition to this, she became a Living Well Expert for NBC11, appeared on Rob Black and Your Money, Bay Area Bargains, and participated in multiple episodes of Rapid Remodel TV.
Aldiva’s entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. In 2015, she founded Recovery Credit Repair, Inc. in Visalia, which has since grown into a thriving business with additional offices in Old Town Clovis. Her passion for helping people improve their financial health and empowering them to overcome obstacles has been the driving force behind the company’s success.
In addition to credit repair, Aldiva is a Certified Freddie Mac Credit Counselor, a Certified Tax Preparer, and the owner of OMG Tax Gals. She also runs Aldiva Inc., a business consulting firm, and serves as a Certified SBDC Business Advisor.
Aldiva has always been committed to her community and serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of the Visalia Leadership Program (Class of 2018) through the Visalia Chamber of Commerce and received the Small Business of the Year Award in 2019, Community Service Award 2022 and Woman of the Year Award 2024 from the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Aldiva’s mission remains clear: to continuously improve her businesses, foster growth, and give back to the community that has supported her throughout her journey.
